Our English literacy program is aimed at empowering students from underprivileged communities by providing them with essential language skills that will open doors to better academic and career opportunities. Students in these communities receive their education in the regional language, which puts them at a huge disadvantage when competing at the national level or appearing for competitive exams.
In collaboration with Vedanta Tirtha, a Registered Non-government Trust in Medinipur, we currently run five English coaching classes. These classes are in remote villages in and around Tamluk.The program has been warmly received, and its reputation is growing within the community. There is a huge demand for spoken English classes, and we are being approached by many local schools to conduct sessions for their students.
English is a vital tool in today’s world, yet many children from low-income backgrounds lack access to quality instruction. This program bridges that gap by offering structured classes that cover reading, writing, speaking, and communication. Our program is especially designed to empower and meet the needs of high school students with essential English language skills, with a strong focus on spoken English, to build confidence and open doors to future opportunities. We have four dedicated teachers running these classes. We have currently reached a total of 165 students (both boys and girls) providing them with quality education free of cost. We provide 10 sessions per week ensuring structured and continuous learning.
Beyond language, it helps build students’ confidence and self-expression, encouraging active participation in academics and beyond. With improved communication skills, these students can pursue higher education, scholarships, and explore more diverse career paths.
