Born to live (BTL) is a registered Canadian Charitable organization based in Toronto. It was founded in 2015. Our mission is to bring hope to under privileged children. We connected with a small village in Pathamari, Nepal, a remote farming community the village lacks basic infrastructures like clean drinking water, sanitation, electricity, school, health clinic or hospital. It is not accessible by road. The only way to reach the village is a 45 minutes trek from the nearest township. In consultation with the village elders, we determined that we could make the greatest impact on the community by establishing a school. The school was opened in February 2014 with 10 students and currently has 40 students. We are in process of adding an extension to the existing school building to accommodate more students. We are also providing the children with a daily meal. Our initiatives have received overwhelming response from the village elders and the community. We have begun in a small way, but it has certainly brought hope to this community. There is so much to do to help this community and many others like it. With your support, we want to eventually adopt the village and improve the lives of the people in the community. We aspire to provide them with clean drinking water, sanitation, access to healthcare, and empower women with skill training to transform lives. It is our belief, that with your support we can make our collective dream a reality. We are very optimistic and hopeful.

We need donations to complete some of the projects that we have undertaken. You may choose to fund a specific project or make a donation towards the running of the school, which currently has 40 students. You can also make a monthly donation to sponsor the children with a daily meal, school uniform, school supplies, school equipment, books or playground equipment.
